Lost Soul

Dear Grandma,
My granddaughter graduated from high school six month.  She informed us she wants to become a man.   She now wants to take hormones to turn herself into a man. Now she is living with another lost soul.  Am I being old fashion?
Frustrated

Dear Frustrated,
What is this world coming to?  Tell her to look in her pants.  That is what God wants her to be.  Keep praying for her.

NO SEX LIFE

Dear Grandma,
Leroy, just doesn’t have any more sex drive!  He’s rather watch sports then play around with me.  I’ve bought expensive sexy lingerie.  Even tried one of those lacy thong body suits.  Nothing!! Is that all there is out of life? Help me, please.
No Satisfaction Molly

Dear No Satisfaction,
One thing you sure made the lingerie companies rich.  The brain is the sexiest part of a human being.  Showing all there is no Imagination or anticipation.  Ask Leroy is he would take you to the next game.   When you get there tell him “oh, I forgot my panties!”  If he asks you if you want to go home and put them on say no.  I’m ok.  Then when you at the game, when you stand up slide you hand down your hip.  Let me know what happens.  I never wear bloomers.  The reason they were made in the first place is we didn’t have wash machines.  We’d wash our undergarments.  So why make others rich.  There is nothing like the feel of the breeze when you wear a dress.

SON IS OUT OF CONTROL

Dear Grandma,
My 10 year old son, I take him  out and eat at Mcdonalds daily,  buy him  all the video games, and support him at all his activities. His schooling is suffering and I can't get him to do his  homework.  His mouth has been like a street gang.  I have always been his friend and encourage him .  Please, help me be a better parent.
Frazzled Parent

Dear Frazzled,
Your task is to raise your child to become a productive, law abiding citizen.  That involves being a parent not a friend.  The more a child hates you, it shows that you are doing a good job of parenting.  Make rules.  Give chores and if not followed punishment is earned.   Kids today don't know what consequences are.  You don't follow rules the consequences are no phones, computer except to do homework, eat what I cook, no friends over or going out for a month of following the rules.   Yes,they will hate you but you will have law abiding adults.  When you say no, you mean it from now on.  The hardest will be for you to hold your grounds.  Don't give in.  When I was raising my kids all alone..they knew no meant no or the wood shed was around back.

FELL OUT OF LOVE
Dear Grandma,
I fell out of love with my husband, George.  What do I do?
Loveless Lois

Dear Loveless,
If you  think marriage is easy your crazy.  Sometimes it is as hard as a rock.  It is not the honeymoon stage forever.  Day to day marriage is like dirty clothes.  You have to wash, hang out to dry and then press them.  And who puts them away???  Yes, it is not a 50/50 game it is more like 100/100.  So put your big girl panties on get  the laundry done and quit whining.

People call me Grandma Green.  I was born in the year 1900.  Being a widow at a very young age with 3 children, I was the first woman libber.  I sold  Stanley Home Products and made $1000 a month in the 50's.  I was the first women in our town to build a house. Remarried a farmer so I took part in running it.  Was a faithful church goer who played the organ weekly.  I have been through it all and will tell you what I think.
